Aspen Cottage

This cottage comprises one lounge, kitchen, bedroom and a wet room.

All of the accommodation is on the same level and whilst the needs of less mobile guests have been uppermost in the design of the accommodation it is equally suited to those guests who are fully mobile.

Central heating is present throughout.

Lounge

Aspen cottage has a particularly spacious lounge which overlooks the courtyard at the front and the gardens and sitting out areas at the rear.

The lounge is equipped with:

Kitchen

The kitchen overlooks the garden and the fields beyond.

It is equipped with an electric cooker and microwave oven, a fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. Coffee maker, toaster, kettle, crockery and other incidentals are supplied.

Bedroom

The bedroom incorporates two single beds which can be converted into a double bed if guests so wish.

The room is fitted with bedside tables, wardrobes and a dressing table.

All towels (except beach towels) are provided.

Wet Room

The wet room is fully tiled, the floor tiles having a non-slip surface.

There is free access to the power shower and a shower seat can be made available.

The toilet is a ‘Clos O Mat’ which can be programmed to wash and dry the user.

In the summer months the heated towel rail can be operated independently of the central heating system.

Outside

The gardens and sitting out areas are on the same level and are thus wheelchair friendly.

Immediately outside the door is a level paved area which accommodates a double garden seat. This area faces East and thus has the benefit of the sun during the morning.

A winding path leads to a second seating area which comprises a patio table and chairs.  A barbecue is available for those sunny times when guests can eat outdoors should they choose to do so.  This area has the benefit of the sun into late evening.

A lawned area is situated on one side of the path whilst a gravelled area interspersed with shrubs is on the other side.

Privacy is achieved via trellising and shrubs.
